About Our Services
Who may benefit from our services?
Our services are designed for Power of Attorneys and Legal Guardians, Spouses and Partners, Adult Children, Adult Grandchildren, Siblings, Extended Family Members, Friends, and Other Loved Ones who support individuals living with dementia.
Who is eligible to receive services?
All clients must be 18 years of age or older and be a loved one of a person with dementia, or professional working with persons with dementia.
Are all sessions virtual?
Yes. All sessions, support groups, and consultations are held virtually via Zoom for your convenience and accessibility.
Getting Started & Initial Coaching Consultation
How do I get started?
All new clients begin with a Coaching Consultation session, a one-time, required session designed to help us understand your caregiving role, challenges, and goals. This step ensures all future sessions are tailored specifically to your needs. This session is required for participating in Coaching Sessions and Support Groups.
What happens after the Coaching Consultation session?
Once your initial consultation session is complete, you can book individual coaching sessions, support groups, or sign up for one of our monthly pricing plans for ongoing support.
Payments
Do I need to pay for my session when I book it?
Yes. All services must be prepaid in full at the time of checkout. Payment is required to confirm your booking and secure your session time.
What payment methods does DCC accept?
We accept all major debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept payments made through Venmo Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and PayPal.
Booking Services
How do I book a service?
Booking is done directly through our website. You must create a login on our website and navigate to the "Book Services" tab. Simply select your service, choose your preferred date and time, and complete payment at checkout.
Rescheduling, Cancelling, and No Shows
Can I reschedule or cancel an educational session (i.e., presentation, class or course)?
Educational sessions are nonrefundable and cannot be cancelled or rescheduled due to limited offerings.
Can I reschedule or cancel a 1:1 coaching or support group session?
Sessions may be rescheduled or canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cannot be rescheduled or cancelled less than 24 hours to your scheduled service.
Rescheduling
How do I reschedule a 1:1 coaching session?
To reschedule a service, you must login to our website. Once logged in, navigate to the "My Bookings" tab. Select your scheduled service. Click the "Manage" button. Click "Reschedule" and select and confirm your new day/time.
Cancellations
What happens if I cancel a session more than 24 hours in advance?
When a session is cancelled 24 hours or more in advance, a coupon code for your next booking will be emailed to the email address on file within 72 hours. You must enter to coupon code at checkout when booking your next session. It will not automatically be applied.
What happens if I cancel less than 24 hours in advance?
If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session, the session will be nonrefundable, and no credits will be issued for future use.
What should I do if I need to cancel due to an emergency or unexpected situation?
We understand that caring for a loved one with dementia can involve unforeseen circumstances. Emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please notify us in writing via email or the chat feature on our website.
No Shows
What happens if I don't show up to a scheduled service?
No-shows are nonrefundable, and no credits will be provided for future sessions.
Pricing Plans
What is the benefit of a pricing plan vs. session-by-session booking?
Our pricing plans offer ongoing support at a discounted rate compared to booking single sessions. They provide consistency, accountability, and continuity in your coaching experience.
Do I have to subscribe to a pricing plan?
No, our pricing plans are not required. You can book single sessions or a package via our pricing plan selections.
